Distractions
Here are my fave distractions whether you are heartbroken or confronting any drama or whatsoever.. in no particular order
1. Movies - Yes, movies with friends or just by yourself will do. Anything that is pleasing to the eyes is GOOD. I did this before. Wont be able for now.. Although, this is quite painful if you’re saving up for something. I will definitely do this again… sometime
2. Books - PERFECT distraction for me. since I own a Kindle, this is soooo cheap. Sometimes a person just needs to have that quality time with self, over a cup of tea or coffee or choco drink. with any of these 3 while reading a satisfying novel, you can never go wrong.
3. Catching up with family and/or friends - Very social. Who doesn’t need friends or just that someone who’ll uplift you and go along with the drama you’re having. Sometimes all you need is a friend or someone who’ll just listen..Makes you feel that once in a while youre not alone
4. Food - I love this. Bit hurtful to your pocketsss though. And maybe you’ll kind of regret it, say, after a few weeks or …….. NOT. Satisfying one’s craving, now that’s awesome!!! Don’t ever deprive yourself when it comes to foood
5. New acquaintances - Yesss, definitely. By new acquaintances, I’m not only referring to guys but same sex as well. doesnt matter who but meeting someone new and unfamiliar is quite refreshing..
6. A day at the salon - Okay, i dont necessarily mean getting that new haircut, a short one just so you’ll tell the world that HEY, IM SINGLE, JUST GOT OVER A FVCKN BREAKUP AND NOW IM OKAY BUT AFTER THIS HAIRCUT, I KNOW I’LL CRY TO SLEEP AGAIN TIL THIS HAIR GROWS LONG… A day to pamper, that’s just it.
7. Music trippin - Not the sentimental ones! Dont. even. try. Listen to the rock songs, party songs… which will lead to number 8.
8. Go rebel - Sometimes a rebellious side will release all the frustrations that have been wanting to burst all this time! Go party, go drink.
9. Look at the mirror and say “I’m beautiful!” “I’m hot, sexy and gorgeous!” Trust me, this will boost your confidence if it’s been buried for yearsss
10. Faith - Just a short prayer or a quick call to God, having real life conversations.. doesnt matter if youre doing something during that moment, but just talk to Him.
11. Retail therapy - This is working for most ladies but if ever youre on a budget, dont even try this one. You can sulk up to reading books instead which, in the meantime, is helping me a LOT.
And the list goes on..
There are actually a lot of distractions which will work for just about everyone. But all have diff preferences. These worked for me. If ever i do get to experiment or try another one thatd add up to my list, good! For now, these are working for me just fine. And yes, drama doesnt stop. thats life! :)
PS I’m thinking of one thing to add, I have something in mind, lets see. with the right circumstances, i’ll take it into consideration

Gradual process at work, literally
Gradual process step 1:dont text him, not even a msg on viber and fb. Refrain from checking if he’s online.
Step 2: never attend that little peptalk. Never! Shudnt be in there.
Step 3: maybe the last step and the hardest one. Be casual. When he sees u, act like normal. Just that professional type of rel. Smile but no hint of kilig. Just play it cool.
A week of not seeing him is helpful but that one month will be crucial. Focus.
Ohhh and i forgot. When there are no questions asked, dont speak. No kwento such as divulging info. No kwentos. Passive. Save ur saliva.
