Review: Lime Crime Velvetines in Red Velvet & Pink Velvet

Hi! This time, I am doing a review on Lime Crime Velvetines in 2 shades: Red Velvet and Pink Velvet. I only have two shades. I got these, because pink and red are the most common and you can say, the safest shades to wear. These are not latest purchases. I bought them maybe a year ago from 2 different online stores. One of which is MakeUpHub. I just decided to do a review on these products, as requested by my best friend. :)

However, there are a lot of interesting shades to choose from. If only I have enough budget, I would have bought Lime Crime Velvetine in Riot, Suedeberry or maybe Wicked, too. Riot is not included in photo below coz I think it's one of the newest shades released by Lime Crime. Photo credit to 411kisses.blogspot.com. I won't include a photo of the packaging of each because I already threw the boxes away. But the packaging is perfect and gives you a feeling of excitement as you open it! :) Search it over the Web! 

As you can see in my previous photos, these are not lipsticks. These are lip stains. I usually apply lipsticks more because they are easy to wear. However these lip stains can take a lot of practice. These are creamy lip stains and when dried, will give you a Matte effect on lips, which I really like! Let me show you pros and cons for both of the shades.

Pros:

Very creamy giving you a bold look after

Matte finish

The colors are very stunning to look at, gives you full lips.

Cons:

Price is nearly the same as a Mac Lipstick (if you're a fan!)

Kinda hard to apply (since it's liquid, you really have to be super careful..)

After a few hours, it kinda melts when you eat and go over the edges of lips. More retouching needed.

Had difficulty removing the product

I rate this product 4 out of 5 stars. It's a nice product. I love it, but I love Mac more. :)
